Description

The workshop provides basic knowledge about the two presentations in the context of oral appointment procedures: 

•    Overview of the personal and oral part: challenges and recommendations for preparation 
•    The science talk: what is expected and how can you deal with the fact that there are students, doctoral researchers, postdocs and professors in the audience?
•    Subject-specific expectations of the talk
•    The teaching test: preparation and skillful implementation

Trainer

Dr. Matthias Schwarzkopf was responsible for appointment procedures at the University of Jena for several years. He is supporting researchers for many years as a trainer and coach on the topic of appointments.
