Description

The workshop provides basic knowledge about appointment procedures and the requirements for applying for Junior-, Tenure Track- or lifetime professorships:

•    When can I apply for Junior-, Tenure Track and lifetime professorships? What do I need to have achieved by then?
•    How do appointment procedures for professorships (Junior-, Tenure-Track or lifetime professorships) work and what is their legal background?
•    What do typical job advertisements look like and what expectations are associated with them?
•    What should be included in the application documents? How can they be organised and structured?

Trainer

Dr. Matthias Schwarzkopf was responsible for appointment procedures at the University of Jena for several years. He is supporting researchers for many years as a trainer and coach on the topic of appointments.
