Start your doctorate right

Is a doctorate the right thing for me? How do I get started and how do I organize my "project doctorate"? Which financing options do I have? Frühjahrsakademie addresses advanced Master's students interested in a doctorate and doctoral researchers at the beginning of their doctorate.

What does Frühjahrsakademie offer?

The three-day Frühjahrsakademie offers support as well as orientation in the decision-making process and in the preparation for the exciting time of your doctoral thesis.

On the first day, you will receive a comprehensive overview of formal and organizational issues related to the doctorate and benefit from the exchange with experienced early career researchers who provide insights into the specifics of doctoral theses in the respective subject groups.

In interdisciplinary workshops on the second and third day of the event, you can train various key skills for a successful start to your doctorate: From writing an exposé to self- and time management to good scientific practice.

Who can participate?
