The Research Career Day provides strategic knowledge and personal orientation about career perspectives, career paths and requirements for a career in research considering the broader scope of making a career at universities, non-university research institutions and universities of applied sciences.
Within RAR, RUB Research School, the Graduate Center TU Dortmund University, and the Graduate Center Plus of the University of Duisburg-Essen combine and bundle their expertise. All activities offered under the umbrella of RAR are based on close cooperation and regular exchange of experience.
The joint interdisciplinary qualification offers and career events prepare early career researchers for a career in research, business, and society. All offers also promote the mutual exchange of ideas, both within specific research fields and across individual disciplines.
The Ruhr Graduate School in Economics (RGS Econ) is a co-operation project of the three UA Ruhr economics faculties with the participation of the Leibniz Institute for Economic Research (RWI) and part of the Research Academy Ruhr. It offers a structured doctoral programme in the field of economics, including research-oriented courses, workshops and conferences.
